When the last song is sung…
When the last note is played…
When the End, in the “twinkling of an eye”, is the start of Eternity…where will you spend it? Where will you be for Eternity?
That question creates purpose in my banjos. Engraved on every DD Banjo is a cross and “1 Corinthians 1:18”…
“For the preaching of the cross (1) is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power (2) of God.”
This verse presents powerful questions…“Do I think all this God stuff is foolish?” or “Do I understand what has been done on my behalf and, in faith, willingly choose to be obedient to God’s words?”
At one time I answered it was foolish which would have resulted in me perishing for Eternity. But now I understand and will spend Eternity with God.
It is my prayer that everyone who sees the engraved cross and verse will ask themselves…
“Where do I stand with God?”
“Where will I spend Eternity?"

(1) Cross = Gospel or Good News of what Jesus accomplished on the cross.
(2) Power = Greek word “Dunamis” where we get the words dynamic, dynamite and dynamo. It is the miracle working power of God working on my behalf.
